 Salmon Oil
If you use it what do you use?
I've used the generic Walmart kind with little results. I currently use Grizzly Salmon Oil and wow, what a HUGE difference in coats!
Just wondering what other effective products are out there.

 Re: Salmon Oil
Lisa-I don't use Salmon Oil, but wanted to share what I do for coats. I put Josette on Springtime's Longevity for her joints, but her coat started to look really nice from it. My Lab Irie had a really nasty coat so I started her on a small dose of it and her coat is gorgeous! Just thought I'd share

 Re: Salmon Oil
I use the Grizzley Salmon oil. His coat is soft and shiny and it doesn't smell horribly bad to eat when mixed into his food like the sardine oil was.
I also use Show Stopper maybe a scoop a day and it's making his coat a little more plush but I want really plush. I'm tempted to through some of my mousse in his fur after the next bath and use the blow dryer!!!
I like that other product mentioned though, I may have to take a look at that!

 Re: Salmon Oil
Interesting.....I will look into the Show Stopper.
I'm really happy with the Grizzly and doubt I will change it as it's given such great results, but I also like to know what else is out there so I think this will be a helpful thread for that and also for those wanting to start their dog on a supplement.

 Re: Salmon Oil
Lisa, we don't use strictly salmon oil, we use Fish Oil pills from Walmart with good results. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... d=11997227I get a lot of compliments on the dogs coats.

 Re: Salmon Oil
I use Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil from Costco. Their coats glisten. I mix it with a raw egg and yogurt, with Vit. E gel tabs, and whatever else I feel like tossin in there.
